Serta Restokraft has released a new collection of iComfort mattresses called the iComfortECO which feature up to 70% sustainable materials. The new collection, just released in May of 2023, features three sub-collections, Quilted Hybrid, Smooth Hybrid, and Foam. For this post, we will focus on just the Smooth Hybrid models.
Superior Comfort and Support
As you can see in the example image below, Serta has combined several materials together to provide superior comfort and support for your body. And the comfort that you get is not just from the feeling of laying on the mattress but also from the multiple cooling layers which help to regulate body temperature while you sleep. The best new feature for support is the 1000 Series 5-Zone Quad Coil System which supports each region of your body perfectly.
Sustainability
Serta has strived to increase sustainability within its new 2023 mattress collections. Toward that effort, they have introduced Terra Fusion Memory Foam which is made from 28% plant-based material. The CoolTemp Cover Powered by Repreve is made with recycled plastic bottles (a queen size recycles up to 120 water bottles). Even the coils are made with 85% recycled steel. This combined with other materials creates a mattress built with up to 70% sustainable materials.
Cooling and Breathability
While the sustainability of the materials used in the construction of smooth hybrid Serta iComfortECO mattresses is great, there’s an added bonus. The materials are also great at promoting airflow and temperature regulation to help you sleep comfortably throughout the night. There’s a latex layer that is breathable and supportive, the cool-to-the-touch cover feels nice, and the coil system allows great airflow through the mattress. It’s important to note that cooling does not mean that you will be cold!
