Gardner White and Serta, two iconic Michigan brands, have teamed up to launch a year-long partnership to support the American Cancer Society, the country’s leading cancer-fighting organization with a vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. Gardner White announced that a portion of every Serta mattress sale through December 31, 2024 will support the American Cancer Society. As Michigan’s largest Serta mattress retailer in the state, Gardner White offers 18 Serta mattress models in all 13 stores throughout Metro Detroit and online at www.gardnerwhite.com.
“We were overwhelmed by the incredible support by our customers and team of our American Cancer Society partnership in October to support breast cancer awareness and were determined to continue the conversation and fight against a disease that impacts so many people and families in our community. We are grateful for our partnership with Serta in this yearlong effort to support an incredible organization working hard to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat and survive cancer.”
Rachel Stewart, Gardner White President

“We are honored to partner with Gardner White for this incredibly important cause. Cancer impacts so many families and individuals of all ages. We are dedicated to supporting the American Cancer Society in their mission to fight cancer right here at home.”
Larry Kraft, President & CEO of Serta Restokraft
The American Cancer Society works tirelessly to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support. One in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. The American Cancer Society has invested $5 billion in research since 1946 and has provided over 1 million cancer screenings in underserved communities.
“Gardner White is going all in and we are so grateful for our partnership with them and Serta in the fight against cancer. The funds they raise will be put directly to work to support the estimated 64,530 Michigan residents who will be diagnosed with cancer this year, with services like rides to treatment, free lodging, and cancer information; as well as investing in groundbreaking cancer research happening right here and across the country.”
Jenni Beamer, Senior Executive Director for the American Cancer Society in Michigan
